Blue Origin Shift Away From New Shepard Tourism
Blue Origin has suspended its New Shepard suborbital tourism programme for at least two years to prioritise development of NASA’s Artemis lunar lander. Suborbital flights are brief journeys crossing the 100 km Kármán line, reaching the edge of space without achieving Earth orbit. They follow a parabolic trajectory, typically last 10–15 minutes, and offer views of Earth’s curvature and several minutes of microgravity.
